I was contracted by Stairplace Ltd to establish a web presence for the company. Together we developed their web strategy; agreed on the web architecture and design. I developed the site accordingly and ensured it was search engine optimisied.

Totalwar.com

Protect: TotalWar.com site redesign

Description:

I was contracted by Modem Media to ‘do’ the Information Architecture for a Sega games website, who already have loyal fan base and had frequent hits.
For the redesign, the site would use a CMS to allow the client to add content, but maintain solid content structure. My role was to device a navigation system, structure current content and yet allows the system to accommodate future modular content.

Storymaker

Description:
The Hero’s Journey is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the Hollywood movies we have deconstructed are based on this template. Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters.
I helped in the development of an eLearning application called ‘Storymaker’, by creating the wireframes and defining interactions/behaviours of the tool.

The Hero’s Journey Storymaker allows the user to create you own stories based on the Hero’s Journey structure, by enabling students deconstruct & reconstruct a story.

Character Maker

Description:

The Character maker part of the Hero’s Journey content, it compliments the Storymaker tool.
The Character Maker allows the user to create their own characters for their story.

You can create characters from a series of different available shapes, and add a description for each character. This will help you when writing your own Hero’s Journey story. You can use the Character Maker to create any of the archetype characters. Each character and description can be saved and printed at any time.

In Between the Lines

Description:

In Between the Lines is an interactive online learning resource designed for students working at Level 7 or above.

The resource is made up of six activities, each created around a sequence of increasingly demanding tasks. Custom-built multi-media tools are used to enhance the cognitive challenge of these activities.

My role was to help develop the user interaction and documentation, see wireframes. I was also responsible for signing off the user acceptance of the product.

Description:

RW Products Ltd was established to provide an exceptionally fast service for builders Merchants for a unique range of products for use in lofts and loft conversions.

My assignment was to develop a accessible, usable and attractive website for RW Products. Working with the client I designed the site navigation, content structure and developed the website.
